As many of you will know, Karen Vecchio has announced her retirement. I want to thank Karen Vecchio, Elgin-Middlesex-London for her dedicated service and leadership as the local Member of Parliament. Her commitment to our community has been exemplary, and her efforts have laid a strong foundation for us to build upon. Thank you, Karen, for your invaluable contributions.
At this time, the the Conservative Party of Canada is looking for a new candidate - and the date has been set for a vote to decide.

This notice is to advise you that the date, time, and place of the Candidate Nomination Vote for the Conservative Party of Canada nomination contest in the Electoral District of Elgin--St. Thomas—London South is as follows:
Candidate Speeches Forum

Location: St. Anne's Centre, 20 Morrison Dr, St. Thomas, ON
Candidate Nomination Meeting
Date: Saturday November 9, 2024
Time: Voting open from 2:30PM to 5:30PM
Location: St. Anne's Centre, 20 Morrison Dr, St. Thomas, ON
In order to be eligible to vote, you must have been a member in good standing of the Conservative Party of Canada residing in the Electoral District of Elgin—St. Thomas—London South as of October 11, 2024.
As per the Constitution of the Conservative Party of Canada, in order to vote you must provide identification using either:
• One original piece of identification issued by a Canadian federal, provincial or territorial government agency containing the member’s photograph, name and address,
OR
• Two original pieces of identification, which contain the member’s name, one of which contains the member’s photograph and one of which contains the member’s address.
Please note that the identification requirements shall be subject to the exercise of discretion by the Returning Officer or equivalent to waive specific requirements where exceptional circumstances warrant.
