PRIORITIES
Community Safety

Everyone deserves to feel safe in their homes, walking down the street, and when going about the community. We need to enforce existing laws, support proven mental health initiatives, and stop the revolving door of criminals who re-offend. I will work to support law enforcement, work to repeal laws that create unnecessary bureaucracy, and oppose unnecessary government overreach into citizens' lives.

Our Unique Community

Elgin-St. Thomas-South London is not Toronto nor is it Ottawa. We face unique challenges, from rural to agricultural. I am committed to fighting for fair representation and investment. Our voices deserve to be heard, and I will work tirelessly to make sure our needs and concerns are addressed at the federal level by someone who is from and invested in the success of this community.

Tax Overhaul

The best place for your money is in your pocket not in the hands of a Government bureaucrat or running a bloated Government program.  Canadians pay too much in taxes, and our tax system is overly complicated.  We need a tax overhaul that simplifies the system, reduces the burden on hardworking Canadians, and ensures that families and businesses keep more of their money to spend and invest as they choose.

Supporting Canadians

Our resources and employment incentives should target Canadians and our local community, ensuring that those who have paid into the system can benefit from it. When we welcome others, it must be through a system that prioritizes individuals who are ready to contribute to our economy and communities.

Support to Families

Families are the bedrock of Canadian society.  I will tirelessly ensure government programs do not discriminate against two-parent households but rather provide support because raising a family is a challenge and we don’t need the Government adding to that challenge or raising our children.

End the Legalization of Hard Drugs

The government’s approach to so-called “safe consumption sites” has not delivered the results Canadians were promised. We need to reverse the legislation that legalized hard drugs and redirect funding toward addiction recovery, rehabilitation, and mental health services that provide real solutions to those struggling with substance abuse.
